The Buenos Aires Jewish community is of the largest in the world and its heritage remains very much preserved. Specialists guide this very comprehensive tour that introduces us into the unique features of the Buenos Aires Jewish culture. We explore the traditional Jewish neighbourhood, “Once”, the new AMIA building (mutual fund organization whose previous head office suffered a terrorist attack in 1994) and the institute of Jewish studies. We also visit the outstanding Ashkenazi and Sephardic temples as well as the site where the Israel Embassy used to stand prior to the 1992 attack.
Length: 3 hrs. Every morning from Monday to Friday Journey: (Stops at every site) Israel’s Ambassade Square, Libertad temple, Teatro Ift, Instituto Científico Judeo (IWO), “Once” streets, Paso and Lavalle temples and AMIA.
Note: For security reason it is necessary that we get passport numbers in advance. Also, we suggest give some donations at Synagogues for opening their doors (5 usd per person per institution).
Pick up area for both tours: Av. Callao, Av. Del Libertador, Av. Alem, Av. Paseo Colón, Av. Belgrano.
